after my handphone got stolen in my face and my friends house was robbed of everything that was inside i now sleep with a golf club under my bed.it would be kinda cool to beat the shit out of anyone who steps through my door though!! ah well. melbourne is having a heat wave this week. 36+degrees all day long. even now when its 12 midnight its still 34 degrees. its australia day today and i was loserishly watching the fireworks off the reflection of the building opposite my house cuz i am NOT FACING the fireworks. oh well.

went to australian open(tennis grand slam) today!! i got myself sunburnt. yes, kelvin tan can be sunburnt despite common belief that i am a white chicken ghost. i saw so many good players! standing like a few metres away from them and watching them practice by the court before their big matches.i got pics but then i have to load em up first. got a shot of james blake and rafael nadal from like 2 feet. soooo many irritating girls screaming and shouting. aiyoh. but i must say they look quite good in real life man. i saw Daniela Hantuchova(http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/bios/ws/wtah394.html) when she was practicing!!! in a like ultra tight tube and shorts! she looks damn hot la wah lao eh!!! cannot take it. on tv she looks horrible though. hmmm. i saw Davenport, albert Costa,Myskina,Dementieva,Petrova. yeah all for $20 bucks. its damn worth it man.i love melbourne in summer man. hohoho

i actually passed my french placement test, very much to my surprise. i had thought i completely humiliated myself during the oral exam (which i didn't expect). and thus my mind went blank and i couldnt even recognise the question "what's your name?" in french. other inane questions were shot at me and i mumbled off one word answers, i tried desperately to string my answers into coherent sentences but to not much avail. it was one of my most humbling experiences yet.
okok sorry kelvin i promise ill give it back to you.....who would want to steal your fake nokia? he mustve been super poor man.... oh well...at least you got your power desktop so it should distract you from the fact that your hp got stolen. didnt buy insurance?

i spent my whole day tweaking and meddling with this rigid black box that we call a desktop. It is my source of supreme joy. when i look at it i want nothing else but to continue customising and turning it into a monster of a machine. god, now i know what it feels like to get what u've been dreaming of for years. it feelsss absolutely fantastic. :)

how do you tactfully tell somebody to leave you alone in peace without sounding too harsh?
i dont have that sort of tolerance or patience for the person in question.
he annoys me just by his mere presence and the stolen glances give me the creeps.

the past five days has been considerably the best five days ive had since i-dunno-when. it's pleasurable tending to a retail shop all by yourself, from being able to call the shots at how many percent discount you're giving to vacuuming the place is gratifying. i love the teeny weeny red rocking chair, the feel of the clothes, watering the cactus, swiping the nets card and even rummaging through piles of clothes just to find that one size for that one customer. it's satisfying. (plus i get to buy clothes at a good discount and i've bought quite a bit already..hahah) i'd do it again. makes me wanna do that for a living, only if im working for myself, that is.
