The purpose of this role is to:
o trade in various products, including options, stocks, warrants, futures and interest rate
products in an ever changing and dynamic market; and
o develop strategies and identify opportunities to grow the business.
Key accountabilities of this role include:
Trading
• Trading specific products and taking positions in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• Having the autonomy and freedom to make decisions around trading and positions
• Creating a competitive edge through trading strategies
• Ensuring that the most revenue and potential is achieved out of the products traded
• Analysing quality of trades and identifying missed opportunities
Strategy Development
• Proactively identifying and implementing new trading opportunities and new products to trade
• Developing new strategies to generate revenue, leveraging current and new technologies
• Improving upon existing strategies and striving to automate processes where possible
