Although i finished my exams a week ago, today most of my other course mates finished theirs. We spent the day playing poker and talking about our futures. I realised that employment and results arent exactly correlated, i had a friend who got a $55k starting pay job with toyota without any honors. Thats pretty darn good for starting pay, especially if u've failed subjects before.
We spent the afternoon talking about what we were going to do with our lives, and when we would get to meet up as a big happy group again. We decided that it would be possible every 10 years given that once each of us lead our own seperate lives it would be hard. Somehow i believe that every single one of them will be successful in the individual paths that they take. I've never met a bunch of people who absorb and thirst knowledge as much as they do, i should have met them earlier in my life when i was hanging.
Its amazing how some of them are expected to relieve their parents of the family businesses upon graduation, and not feel the expectations already pinned on their shoulders. Instead many of them have dreams that i swear cannot possibly fail if they continue doing what they do. Some people are just born with such drive and vigor. I've always wanted that but i still find myself idling around.
Graduation is in 2 1/2 weeks time, and there is a final gathering afew days before then. Stage 2 of our lives are in orientation and about to begin. I can only hope to be half as successful as the rest of you will become. See you in 10 years time.

i currently have four gaping holes in between my teeth, had them extracted because i'll be braced next friday.braces with nice hot pink brackets, thats what im looking forward to. or maybe i shall dress it up a bit for christmas and have hot pink (instead of red) and green? nah..green will look like i have chye sim stuck on my teeth so better not, be on the safe fashion side and so i shall stick to hot pink brackets.sacrifices must be made in order to achieve straight wonderful teeth so... so long my four teeth!i shall miss your company and your assistance in chewing solid food which i am currently unable to have any cuz i seriously cannot chew. i tried a small teeny puny piece of my beloved spicy bak kwa and lo and behold, i really cannot chew with four teeth missing. let me tell you how useless your front teeth actually are. they dont do anything really. they're just there.oh i havent told you about the extractions and how cool the dentist's instruments are. they are so cool. they numb your gums with this green cream that looks just like zambak but smells like mint. then there's this anaesthesia that makes a loud "POP" sound which numbs your palate then the dentist injects anaesthesia into your gums and lets you wait for three minutes before using this cool tool to kinda pry the tooth out then using a plier he grabs your tooth and shakes it pretty violently to yank it out and viola! then they stitch you up real quick.the procedure really isn't that bad, except when they're yanking out the tooth on the lower set of teeth then you feel your entire jaw shake along and then it feels sore for a short while. but when the anaesthesia wears off, it's not painful, just a lil sore, a bit like how it might feel if someone punched you but i wouldnt know, havent been punched and not wanting to be either. so you just gotta deal with walkin around with a gauze-like cotton stuck in between your teeth and paranoid about your drooling cuz you cant feel shit and youre still bleeding but other than the un-glam factor, it's not that bad. hooray for dentists! and braces with pretty hot pink brackets and other pretty colours! and perfectly wonderful straight teeth!

Ello guys! how is everyone doing? most probably busy with exams!so good luck good luck.this is what my friends's father said to her:when we are young, we tend to be very very close to our friends.but as we grow older, we find ourselves drifting apart, as people forge different paths, make new friends, start to build a family. We still feel close but it is difficult to keep in touch and make time.however, once we reach 60, that is when we will become close again, taking off where it was left.so guys, see you when i am 60! hahaold friends are gold.P.S : i can't believe that SIA makes the cabin crew pay for their own luggage, and make up... considering that they are so RICH. i am going to be broke.

food for thought:
If Christopher Columbus had placed a single penny in a 6 percent interest-bearing account and left the earned interest to compound -- earning interest upon the interest -- the resulting balance for 513 years would be $95,919,936,112. That's $95 billion!

im supposed to be writing my essay on the aspirations of the elderly and how they cope with the aging but here i am writing to rave about the movie i just watched with dreas, 'the prestige'. i was wondering throughout the movie how two grown men with so much facial hair can behave the way they do; like felines in a cat fight, only much better. their jealousy and thirst for revenge initially made me empathise then i couldnt help but think "grow up and move on already!" cuz they end up rivalling for a different cause from when they first began. is it really necessary to go through all that trouble just to win, what are you trying to prove? a lot of times it's just smarter to let go instead of getting noosed.
brilliantly smart movie with smooth delivery, go watch it.
Misdirection-what the eyes see and the ears hear, the mind believes.

here i am again- blogging. i am feeling so free this week.had a pretty good sleep last night. ( after 2 weeks of not sleeping well)the good thing about not being in school is- no exams! trying to rub it in, cause now is the exam period.i am going to hong kong for holiday-again in december. This time round, it is with my family.i have absolutely no idea what to do there, except shop, shop, shop, and eat, eat, eat. And ya, throw in the disneyland for my brother. going on holiday with your family is just plain boring i think, and plus it is going to be cold, and worst- no sale. Damn. Fortunately, my sister is going with me this time round (the last time round was just my mum and me), so at least i have someone to talk to. plus, there are cute hongkie guys, so i can look see, look see. (mj says he can also go "gui hun"= fool around while i am away. haha)So anyone has any idea as to where to go in hong kong. i have been there twice already, but i still have no idea. ok i am going off to slack. see you guys on friday. tharin is going to treat us- yay!.

i have been super "suay" (unlucky) man
1) i fell down at home. came out from my mum's toilet and down i went. now i have bruises on my legs and hands.
2) the following day, the taxi that i was in had an accident. sianz. fortunately i was not hurt.
3) went to eat at lei garden, had tummyache after that. i swear it was the clams.
but at least i passed my final interview at SIA. went for a medical checkup. and they will get back to me in two weeks. i really hope i get it. i am 90% there already. so pray for me.
