Hey guys & gals!~ today is friday, I love fridays cos I have no classes and friday is washing clothes/car day haha.....woke up a bit earlier today to wash and hang my clothes...later going to wash my car...before I get too booorrriinnnnggg.....going to blog about what I did yest....
After uni classes were over at 1pm, I went to a primary sch friend's house to collect a cupboard..she gve it to me cos her room has too much rubbish, so I went to collect it and had lunch with her. Its really been YEARS since I last had a good talk with her. Singapore has really been a place where u get from point A to point B asap. How often do u sit down with yr primary sch friends and haf coffee? Really damn long time....with the exception of u guys lol...cos we meet almost every week HAHAHA....thats why we're such good friends yea...ok back to where I was saying, after coffee I went to the casino..lol...won 25bucks which wasn't much but at least i won(don't laugh)......haha....then went to this place very near City called southbank....the southbank parklands has a man-made beach there...I believe cq,mj,jen, xiao has been there with me during our aussie trip few years back...so I shldn't go more into that lah....
Anyway, Southbank has this eating area called WestEnd, it has great vietnamese/thai food(better than sunnybank where I always go there to eat)...the food was f**ckin good la....we BYO a bottle of wine as well...so i enjoyed my dinner thoroughly...lol....ok to the main part..i went clubbing that nite ard 11plus....
I went with my housemates to this club called "family" last night....its an asian sorta of clubnite that hongkongers, taiwanese, japanese, singaporeans, ah-tiongs and the rest of the asian community gather once a month(i think). Its located at Fortitude Valley, near Chinatown downtown brisbane...:)
When we reached the entrance, we had to queue in the cold for about half an hr which wasn't v long(can recce the crowd etc lol)....the moment i went in after paying 10bucks for student entry...they have this 2 gals that are scantily dressed asking u to buy those lightstick(mj, the army kind...can last the whole nite once u break it)...it was 2bucks only so my housemates and I bought a few hahaha...ok back to the topic...~ the club ain't really big...but it had a really cosy and clean atmosphere about it...it had three levels...the main level with the entrance is a chillout area with a balcony to look down cos the dance floor is located right below...both these levels have bar counters...so getting drinks ain't as slow as singapore cos they are simply too many ppl at zouk etc.....rum and coke costs 6bucks...long island tea costs 12 bucks...etc...drinks not that ex la....as the crowd started to grow, we just drank and waited for my uni-friends and weizhen and her housemates to arrive....as i couldn't tie the lightstick to my wrist...i approached this jap gal to help me...i think she thought i was trying to pick her up at first...I had to SPEAK english so slowly and repeat 8times b4 she understood that I was just trying to ask her to tie a knob for me LOL.....but we talked after that..didn't know some japs cant really speak good english...she's probably as newbie to australia to me I guess....she was with 2 other gal-friends...quite hot one of them haha....oh well language is not a barrier lah LOL....when my other friends arrived...we drank summore and just danced the nite away. The R&B hip hop music was really good....they play trance and house music at the top level. so 3 floors in total. I danced with weizhen and a few other gals....yea thats about it lah...nothing mucccchhhh hahahaha.....
I left the club about 330am cos my housemates have to work the next morning....my other friends didn't drive so they partied till 5am and caught the first train back.
Clubbing overseas is a different kinda of experience lah....nothing too great...its just the company that u are with....haha P.S. I enjoy clubbing with you guys & gals too ok :)
Ok thats all folks...see u guys on MSN...feel free to ask me further qns if u doubt the last part HAHAHAHA......:) CHEERS mate!~
Ok back to slacking.
